Troubleshooting Login Issues
If you cannot log in to 99dewa, check the following:
- Verify your credentials: Ensure you are entering your registered username or email address and the correct password. Passwords are case-sensitive.
- Check for account suspension: If your account has been suspended due to a terms violation or failed KYC verification, you will receive a notification explaining the reason.
- Clear your browser cache: Old cached login data may cause authentication errors. Clear your cookies and cache, then try again.
- Disable browser extensions: Some ad blockers or security extensions may interfere with the login process. Try disabling them temporarily.
- Reset your password: If you believe your credentials have been compromised, use the "Forgot your password?" link to reset your account access.
- Contact support: If login issues persist, reach out to our support team via in-app chat or email with your account ID and a description of the problem.
Password Recovery Steps
- Click "Forgot your password?" on the login form.
- Enter the email address associated with your 99dewa account.
- Check your email inbox for a password reset link from 99dewa. The link expires after 24 hours.
- Click the link and enter a new password (minimum 8 characters, with letters, numbers, and symbols for security).
- Confirm your new password and save the changes.
- Return to the login form and sign in using your new password.
Security reminder: Never share your password or one-time verification codes with anyone, including 99dewa support staff. We will never ask for your password. If you receive a message claiming to be from 99dewa asking for login credentials, it is likely a phishing attempt — do not respond and report it to our support team immediately.
Enhance Your Account Security
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): In your account settings, activate 2FA to require a verification code (sent via SMS) when logging in from a new device. This adds an extra layer of protection.
- Use a Strong Password: Create a password with at least 8 characters, including uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special symbols. Avoid using dictionary words or personal information.
- Update Your Password Regularly: Change your password every 90 days or immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.
- Verify Your Phone Number: Keep your registered mobile number up to date. This is essential for password recovery and receiving verification codes.
What to Do If Your Account Is Compromised
- Change your password immediately: Use the password recovery flow to reset your credentials.
- Review your transaction history: Check your account balance and recent deposits or withdrawals for unauthorized activity.
- Contact support: Reach out to our support team via in-app chat or email and report the suspicious activity with your account ID and the dates and times of unauthorized transactions.
- Request account freeze: If you suspect active misuse, ask support to temporarily freeze your account while we investigate.
- Monitor your linked payment methods: Check your mobile banking, local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking, or bank accounts (local payment, online payment, e-wallet, mobile banking) for any unusual transactions outside of 99dewa.
